Vineyard location: El Cepillo, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, Argentina. Altitude: 1100mts snm / 3608ft above sea level. Soil: Sandly solis with stony in subsoil an a layer of calcium carbonate. Grape variety: 85% Malbec and 15% Tempranillo. Average vineyard production: 8.000kg per ha / 3,2 tons per acre. Age vineyard: 40 years old. Harvest: Hand harvested. Fermentation: Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Alcohol: 13,5º. TA / PH: 5.10 / 3.74. Types of oak and length time in bottle: 12 months in French and American oak barrels (second use) and a year and a half in the bottle before release. Production: 8.950 bottles. Agricultural engineer and Oenologist: Ricardo Garcia y Jorge Rodriguez Tasting Notes: Attractive deep ruby red coloured wine. Fresh and fruity follow through to a medium -bodied palate with berry and marmalade flavors. Sweet with balanced acidity and soft tannins.
